Let me set this up. We have 2 sets of twins. One set is in middle school, the other is elementary age. That being the case, I only have to run two curriculum levels for each subject.. We also only have the structured school time on M-T-Th-F. Wednesdays are for independent study and catch-up.
9:00 Prayer & Character Development
We begin each school day with prayer at 9am. This is a great way to start the day because it is consistent and it gets the kids into “school-mode.” After prayer we talk about a character quality that we will focus on for the week.
9:30/45 “Physical Arts”
This is actually “physical education” but I adapted the name because the kids learn TaeKwonDo and Jujitsu/Self-Defense during this time, and those are martial arts. Once per week they also use this time to play other “traditional” gym games like badminton, volleyball, dance, and other recreational games.
10:15/10:30 Art/Spanish
Art is in the morning twice a week (each set has art once/week, while the other kids work independently). They all work on Spanish together twice a week.
11:00-12:30 Study time/Lunch
Study time with help from me as I prepare lunch. Lunch time and a break.
12:30/1:00 Core Classes
Kids will get assignments and work on some subjects independently. Some subjects are touched on daily, some twice weekly and some once/week

When kids finish their work, including homework for the next school day, they are finished. Usually this is around 4:00. Then the evening is free for them — whether that be relaxing, hobbies, extra-curricular activities or hanging with friends.
